New faculty from Germany

We welcome new faculty from Germany. Dr. Handa and I worked previously in RIKEN Brain Science Institute in a collaborative way. While I moved to the new lab in Tokyo Medical and Dental University, he accomplished his work on a role of the rat prefrontal cortex in decision making as published in Cerebral Cortex (2017). Now that he elaborated his physiological technique using two photon microscopy, we look forward to collaborate with him again to make significant progress in Hiroshima.

宮城県出身、博士（医学、千葉大学大学院）。精神科での経験を背景に神経解剖学・生理学を活かした研究で疾患の病態生理に迫りたい。

半田　高史
半田　高史
助教

ドイツ留学から帰国後に広島大学助教として参加。行動中の動物から神経活動を記録する電気生理学を専門とし、その理論的解析にも重点をおいて研究を展開しています。
