Research interest of Mr. Bingsen Liu is on how sleep-disordered breathing affects multi-organ function, particularly the nervous and cardiovascular systems. In the current project, he uses a mouse model of obstructive sleep apnea to investigate changes in sleep, respiration, brain electrophysiology, cardiac function, and myocardial gene expression under hypoxic conditions.
